I will never forget my first experience as a volunteer with The Niall Mellon Township Trust, it had a profound effect on my life and I knew there and then that my life would change from that moment on, and it certainly did! I am very proud to be involved with this charity and very proud of what this charity represents.
Linda has been involved with the charity since 2004, when she volunteered on the Building Blitz on the township of Imizamo Yethu. She returned as a volunteer in the role of Team Leader in 2005 and 2006. In March of 2007, she got the opportunity to work full time with the charity and took on this role with excitement and enthusiasm.
Linda’s role in the charity is that of Senior Volunteer Fundraising Officer whereby she supports a group of volunteers and helps and encourages them with their fundraising efforts. She is also Team Leader Manager on the Blitzes which involves overseeing all the Team Leaders and supporting them daily throughout the blitz week.
