A World Cup 2010 Football Prediction Competition

Volunteer Joe Byrne ansd Paddy Liddy have come up with an innovative idea to help with your fundraising, please read message from Joe below.

Hi Fellow Volunteers,

You may not remember me, may name is Joe Byrne, and on the night of the Volunteer meeting, I mentioned that myself and Paddy Liddy (another fellow volunteer) run football prediction competitions to raise funds for NMTT.

I also mentioned that with the World Cup coming up in June and being played in South Africa this had the potential as a Fund Raiser Competition. We have devised such a World Cup Prediction Competition and am now putting forward a suggestion to any of you that may be interested.

Firstly, you can checkout our website :  http://www.worldcupprediction.com/ or refer to Entry Sheet & Rules.

Simply put, it is a Fun Football Prediction Competition for the South African World Cup and the idea is that each entrant predicts the outcome of the World Cup from start to finish and points are scored according to how well their Predictions does against the "Actual Outcome".

The Entry Fee is only €20.00  - Ten of which is used and paid back in “The Prize Money Fund” and Ten used for the Niall Mellon Fund / Charity -  no money is taken by us or anyone for profit or admin.

The Outright Winner will win a minimum of
€1000.00
(we can guarantee this as we already have a core of about 150 to 200 that enter our football fund raiser competitions)

Plus there will also be prizes for top scorers within each Round of the Group Stage, plus runner up prizes for the Top Ten in final Leaderboard.

Our suggestion is basically that, any fellow Volunteers that wants to use this World Cup Competition as a means to supplement their own sponsorship funds are free to do so.
So you, as a fellow Volunteer, should you get any friends, colleagues, work mates etc to take part in this competition, you keep the sponsorship amount raised for your sponsorship fund and need only pass on the portion for the shared Prize fund pot.

Any persons you recruit can enter either through you or just let us know as being referred by you -
We will confirm their entry, process and include them in the overall World Cup Competition.
(All entrants will be advised of the final full entry, all are then issued with weekly results and then the final leaderboard & outcome and we then pay the final winners - all legit and above board)

We have no problem with the principal of this WC competition being shared in this fashion as 50% raised goes to the NMTT Charity and it is for the same cause, plus the motto it is "The More (that enter) The Merrier"

Should any of you be interested in using and spreading the word and help recruiting participants in this WC Competition but unsure as to what is actually involved and wants more info or details etc.

Feel free to either email myself mulac@eircom.net or Paddy on – patrick.liddy@activationenergy.ie
Or just call me on  - 086 822 7042

Thanking you
Joe Byrne
