Coronation Street Star joins the Make Manchester Proud Team

The Niall Mellon Township Trust has teamed up with the Manchester Jazz Festival to bring you a night of South African Jazz, with music from the Harry Moyaga Band

Harry’s music is the sound of the indigenous rhythms of South Africa, layered with jazz harmonies – simultaneously radiant and emotional. With rich horn arrangements and juxtaposition of 3/4 and 4/4 pulses, the sound of South African jazz is revealed recalling the groove forays of Joe Zawinul.

Debbie Rush who plays Anna Windass in Coronations Street will also be joining us on the night as we Make Manchester Proud.

Tickets are £10 each with the money raised on the night going to support Manchester volunteers traveling to South Africa in November to build houses for those currently living in Townships.

Thursday 29th July, The Festival Pavilion, Albert Square, Manchester City Centre. Starting at 8pm.
