NMTT at the Dublin Horse Show

Irene Plunkett (6 year vet), Paula Cullen (4 year vet) and Vera Smith (5 year vet) with the help of their daughters, nieces and friends had a stand at the Dublin Horse Show this week.
The Horse Show is held at the RDS each year and is a huge event with tens of thousands of people attending and the group spent the days of the show fundraising for this year’s building blitz by selling Hard Hat pins and also raising awareness of the charity.
Dressed in brightly coloured charity t-shirts, they asked passer-bys to buy a hard hat pin to donate towards building a Horse Show House in a township. On the stand there were posters showing their fundraising target for the week of the show, how much they had raised each day and the breakdown of where donations went to - €5 for a tile, €30 for a window.
A great fundraising idea to attend a large event that’s already organised, well advertised and will be really well attended; sports events, local festivals.
The group did brilliantly raising over €6,000 and are really looking forward to this year’s building blitz
