14 Volunteers and supporters set off from Niall Mellon Township Trust offices in Dublin on Wednesday 5th August to cycle over 230 miles to Cork. The key Volunteers involved are Karen O’Driscoll, Cathal Daly, Eileen O’Mahony and Eileen O’Donoghue who are cycling to assist their fundraising activities for the Building Blitz to Wallacedene in November 2009. The team of cyclists will be cycling all the way from Dublin to Mizen Head in Cork in a trip that will take four days, to finish on Saturday 8th of August. Niall and all the team in the office were out in force to wish them well.
We would especially like to mention Joe O’Driscoll, Veteran Volunteer, John Tobin, who had major heart surgery less than a year ago, Yvonne Johnston (18), Gavin Johnston (10) who are cycling the entire root and Jack O’Driscoll (8) who has done an amazing job shacking buckets!
Everyone at Niall Mellon Township Trust is inspired and we hope you have a great rest when it is over!
