We would like to share this wonderful fundraising idea which three of our volunteers came up with in March of this year. It is so simple yet effective.
Ronan Boyle, Stephen Noone, Gary Earls and Robbie Quinn held a Tea Party in Wards of Ballyfa, New Inn Ballinasloe in Galway. They raised over €6,000 and had about 400 guests there on the night.
It was a great success and was enjoyed by all in attendance. The structure of a tea party is you have a table host who invites 9 of their friends (Table of 10 €100) and the host provides refreshments – tea, sandwiches, and choice of two confectionary.
On the night they organised Irish dancers a two piece band and a DJ. They held a raffle which also a great success. They said “the key ingredient is to recruit the hosts for each table.”
Thanks for sharing your wonderful fundraising idea with us guys if anyone else would like to share a great idea they have please email me at eileen@nmtownshiptrust.com
