The Niall Mellon Township Trust is a house building charity. We build houses throughout the year in the townships of South Africa. We run our own skills development programme, training people from those townships in a wide range of construction disciplines. We also run a short-term volunteer overseas programme bringing volunteers to build houses in the townships.
There is no building experience required.

How We Started
In 2002, Niall Mellon was so deeply moved by the plight of impoverished families in the Townships of South Africa that he set up the charity with a view to doing something concrete about it. And concrete was the operative word.

What We Need?
We are looking for volunteers from all walks of life who’ve decided that they want to do something amazing and life-changing during one week of their lives. Experience is not required just a big heart and a lot of spirit!.

Our Future Plans
