Friday arrived it was hard to believe it was our last day in Wallacedene. The morning passed quickly as everybody worked together to get the houses completed. We had a surprise birthday for Seamus Fallon one of our hard working volunteers. He handed over one of our houses to one of the families. It is a privilege to be involved in a blitz week. We all had a wonderful experience. The people of Wallacedene are proud generous people. Over the past week they have shared their time, songs and stories. I would like to say thank you to the people of Wallacedene for allowing me to become apart of your community. I would also like to thank the terracotta team; it was lovely to meet you all. A special thanks to the block-layers who took me under their wing. The apprenticeship that was started last year by Pat + Ray+ Val was continued under the watchful eye of Deise, Fermanagh, Cavan, South African and Dublin boys. I would also like to thank my family and friends without whom I would not have been able to make this trip. Thank for listening to me chat about fundraising baking, buying and eating cakes, running marathons, bucket shaking and general generosity Thank you all so much. Slan go foill
