I cannot believe it’s our last full day on site today. The week has just flown by so fast. Today was the first day I really felt the effects of sheer tiredness. My feet ache like no other.  The sun shone down on us today! When that happened all the aches and pains go out of your mind and we get down to business. Today there was some serious work done by the sky blues. Our lady plasterers Siobhan, Helen and Deirdre were worked to the bone. Peadar, Damian, Kevin and Martin laid some amount of blocks. Irene, Paula and Vera were doing some fantastic painting in and outside of the houses. Cassie went to work on her 'Mural' for our hand-over house. Our lovely painters that joined us at the start of the week, what we would do without them! Karen, Christine, Mary, Ciara and Amelia worked tiresomely on a number of houses cleaning them out and doing last minute touch-ups on a few of our houses. It is now very visible how far we have come since the start of the week. When I look out the front door of our team house left-right straight ahead all I can see is beautiful colored houses completed and ready to move in to. Today flew by and we even had to blow the hooter twice to get the gang to stop working at 5pm. The warmer weather and sun made a huge difference I think. Tomorrow is only a short sleep away and I have a feeling its going to be a wonderful day. Handing over one of our houses is going to be so special for everyone. I can’t wait!
