Today was my favorite day so far. We have got on as a team so well. Clare and I started off the day filling in holes in the ceiling with sealer. Then we got to drill boards into the ceiling. The carpenters showed us what to do. The sun came out at lunch so we could sit outside. Some of the men on our team thought it would be funny to completely soak a girl with a bucket of water, I was glad it wasn't us! After break four of us got to lay our first brick. Next we went to help Ollie and Linda wire a house, after lunch Claire and Rachel went to paint the outside of a house. Orlaith and I got to wire a whole house! Were now pretty sure we could build a house by ourselves. We just need a roofer! At four we went to an Educational session. There were two speakers. One talked about a housing case in South Africa and the other about the church in South Africa. It was really interesting. By the time we got on the bus we were about to collapse after the long day! Everyone's sad that tomorrow's the last day but excited about the hand-over ceremony and the wrap party. This week has been the most rewarding week of my life and I definitely want to come over next year!
