Artistic Kids

What a pleasure it was today working with the children and seeing their little faces as they painted up the wooden shapes we cut out for them. They were so proud and rightly so. A teacher said to me today that he had never seen girls paint before. Just boys and were amazed at their talent. Another teacher said "We underestimate our children." It didn't rain too much today. It was a long 11 hour day. The garden looks amazing. A bunch of children were set loose to decorate 32 vegetable boxes. Within ten minutes they were covered in hand prints and looked gorgeous. I love working with them and they love working with us. We don't need to speak the same language to communicate. A bucket of paint and a smile is enough
