I started this year's trip on the Royal Blue team. However as I got off the bus on the first day a voice called to me looking for a volunteer. Not even knowing what I had volunteered for I headed off to an awaiting bakkie. I was now on the water team!  For the last 5 days with Vera and Cathal we have delivered water, food, medical supplies and the occasional plumber, electrician and pink lady around the site. Today we handed out 5 new World Cup footballs to the children who were playing in the streets with all kinds of made-up footballs. As you can imagine, it made their day. Maybe we have sown the seed for another Premiership football star!
