Firstly I just want to say thank you so much for surprising me yesterday with the fantastic news. I think my face has finally returned to it's normal colour after being a bright shade of pink all day.  My mother was so relieved when I phoned her as she was just ready to burst with excitment.
 
I'm still in a state of shock. I called my selected first choice last night (my brother) to ask him to take the second place and he's over the moon. He's never done anything like this before so it's going to be an amazing experience for him.
 
Once again, thanks a million to both of you and to the whole Niall Mellon team. I'm so so excited to be heading out in November.
 
By the way - I know one of the elements of winning the prize was that I'd get my deposit refunded to me.  I actually don't want my deposit back and would prefer for it to stay with the charity.... so can it be transferred to a friend - Joanne Holland as part of her sponsorship funds for this year?
 
I won't stop thanking you all year so you better brace yourselves.  Also please let me know what help I can give you all for this year.. only too happy to help with anything and everything.
