The countdown to the blitz is well and truly underway with only 8 days to go.  With over 750 volunteers on this year’s trip we are sure to reach our target of building 140 homes within the week.  For all new volunteers make sure to go on the shack and creche visits it will give you an insight into how life is in the township and will energise you to put 110% into working on site.  The families will be delighted to meet with you and show you how they live and answer any questions you have.  On Thursday evening, the community school have invited us to a concert given by the students from the township.  The hour long concert will be lively and a great way to finish up the day nearing the end of the trip.  Friday is hand over day where you will see the many families receive the keys to their home.  This day will remain with you as you go home and will be an emotional reward for all the hard work that went on over the past week.  Seeing 140 families now with a roof over their heads is an achievement that would not be possible without you.
